Rather fly than walk

In 2019, an adventure tracing the footsteps of Vert’ ramp started. Long-time friends, Edouard, Romain and Alex wish to give the 80s cult discipline the image it deserves. Alex and Romain already co-directed a documentary series, Horizon Verticale, released in May 2022. This book, envisioned at the border between a diary and a photo album, gathers in a tangible object all the memories and dreams that have been carried by the project. 

The skateboard culture, the Californian backyards, the contests across the world and the friendships transcending competitive spirit, that is what Vert’ represents. The associations between the images and the colors within the book open a window on the diversity and wide range of encounters, reflecting the common shared values of the community.
